Invictus Medical, Inc.

Invictus Medical is an early stage company developing solutions to help neonates and infants achieve their developmental milestones. Invictus is currently developing an active noise control system for use in the neonatal intensive care unit. This product will be a first of its kind in the clinical arena. Invictus has received a National Science Foundation Phase II grant to support this work and is working in partnership with leading researchers in this field.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Program DSP system
  • Develop algorithms associated with active noise control
  • Collaborate to integrate DSP system to commercial ready product
  • Interface with distributed engineering team
  • Quantify system performance in incubator environment
  • Generate written project reports and white papers
  • Present findings at conferences

Professional Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Physics
  • DSP programming experience (experience with TI DSP preferred)
  • MATLAB development experience
  • Familiarity with active noise control algorithms
  • Adherence to rigorous management of design history files
  • Ability to work to schedule and proactively identify potential problems
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel by air
