The Technology for a Quieter America (TQA) Virtual workshop - Noise Around Airports: A Global Perspective was organized by the INCE Foundation and was hosted by International Institute of Noise Control Engineering and The National Academy of Engineering, Washington, DC on 1 to 4 November 2022.

Our daily soundscape is a cacophony of earsplitting jets, motorcycles, and construction sites. Engineers know how to eliminate and control noise, but other countries are ahead of the U.S. when it comes to keeping the quiet - with related health benefits.

What to know from the "INCE Building Acoustics Webinar"

NRMCA, in conjunction with Acentech, has produced a new guide that compiles the available data regarding the acoustical properties of concrete construction into one place. This guide is free and can be accessed here via the NRMCA website.

The NOISE-CON 2022 Proceedings are now available from the INCE digital library. The library can be accessed either through My INCE or https://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/ince. Access to the library is free to all INCE-USA members. Non-members may purchase papers for $15+tax. All INTER-NOISE and NOISE-CON conference papers are available from 1971 to 2022.

The Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE) announced today a Building Acoustics: Sound Isolation Webinar sponsored by National Gypsum on July 27, 2022, at 12 pm EDT.
